In Hawaiian thinking, words have mana, spiritual or divine power. Mahalo is one of two of the most sacred and powerful words in the Hawaiian language, representing a fundamental Hawaiian value. Deeper meanings and sacredness may only be hinted at by the linguistic interpretation of the root words, yet Mahalo remains ineffable, mysterious, and beyond description within the realm of words alone.  Mahalo must be experienced, on a spiritual level, as a Divine blessing, spoken from the soul as life-enhancing and life-transforming.  As I step into the Divine with care and sincerity, as I speak from my heart, I offer this blessing to each of you.
